IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Registration to attend Media City Film Festival’s 26th Edition is now open! Please read the following information carefully before registering.
Following MCFF’s highly-successful 25th anniversary virtual edition in 2022, and three previous editions of ThousandSuns Cinema showcasing 180+ films, the festival returns to in-person presentations in Windsor-Detroit, November 7–11, 2023. As we transition from virtual exhibitions reaching tens of thousands of audience members to an intimate in-person festival, we are centering intentionality and communication in how we gather together in the cinema. The following information is intended to assist those attending MCFF from outside of Windsor-Detroit.
Media City Film Festival’s 26th Edition will showcase 70+ films and digital artworks with artists in attendance from around the world. This edition promises to be historic. MCFF’s programming will unfold across five nights with presentations in all gauges and formats.
Registration is very limited and will be allocated to international visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, you must book your travel and accommodations before completing the registration form to obtain a full festival pass. The form will not submit without this information. We suggest you plan early to take advantage of special hotel rates (below) and to ensure you secure your festival pass.
MCFF’s screenings and events are offered on a “Pay What You Like” basis. A Full Festival Pass for Media City Film Festival’s 26th Edition is $30 Canadian dollars (to ensure maximum accessibility). At the end of the registration form, a payment portal will allow you to purchase your festival pass, which will confirm your attendance. The purchase of your pass is the only direct monetary contribution to MCFF. However, the festival does accept donations. Your contribution goes directly to artists.
